간만에 다시 앨범을 가지고 등장한 RHCP. 새로운 기타리스트 조쉬 클링호퍼(Josh Klinghoffer)를 영입한 후 처음 선보인 곡이죠.
Red Hot Chilli Pepers는 1983년 미국의 LA에서 결성한 밴드입니다. 펑크(funk)에 기반을 둔 밴드라 그런지 락 그룹임에도 펑키한 느낌이 강한 노래를 만들죠.
이곡 The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie 를 들어보시면 다시한번 Red Hot Chilli Pepers 음악의 리듬과 펑키함을 느끼실 수 있을 듯 싶네요.
뮤직비디오 역시 해변의 건물 옥상에서 아주 자유스럽게 공연하는 모습을 찍은 비디오인데 이 곡과 매우 잘 어울리는 뮤비입니다. 같이 어울려 리듬에 몸을 맡겨버리고 싶네요.
