짐 클래스 히어로즈(Gym Class Heroes)는 미국의 4인조 힙합 밴드입니다.
현 라인업은
- Travie McCoy(리드보컬)
- Disashi Lumumba–Kasongo(리드 기타 및 백보컬)
- Eric Roberts(베이스기타 및 백보컬)
- Matt McGinley (드럼 및 퍼커션)
이며, 리드보컬인 트래비 맥코이(Travie McCoy)와 드러머인 매트(Matt McGinley)가 1997년 고등학교 체육시간때 친구가 되면서 Gym Class Heroes의 역사가 시작됩니다.
2001년 1집 앨범 ...For The Kid 로 데뷔했습니다. 짐 클래스 히어로즈는 힙합 그룹답게 많은 뮤지션과 피처링 작업과 공연을 많이 가졌습니다.
Fall Out Boy를 비롯한 Lil Wayne,Patric Stump,Ra Ra Riot,Supertramp 등등 많은 뮤지션과 좋은 작업을 했고 2007년에 MTV VMA(Video Music Awards)의 Best New Artists 와 Best Group 에 노미네이트 되어 수상하기도 했습니다. 오늘 소개해드릴 스테레오 허츠(Stereo Hearts) 의 뮤직비디오도 감각적으로 제작했습니다.
Stereo Hearts..이전부터 리드보컬 트래비 맥코이의 랩이야 이미 정평이 난 랩이고, 이 곡에 피처링한 애덤 리바인(Adam Levine)의 감미로운 목소리가 Gym Class Heroes의 레벨을 한단계 올려주네요. Maroon 5(마룬5)의 리드보컬인 애덤 리바인은 역시 매력적인 목소리를 가지고 있는 것 같습니다. 짐 클래스 히어로즈의 분위기를 이렇게 멋지게 해줄 수 있다뇨~.
