Greenday의 Wake Me Up When September Ends 와 오늘 소개해드릴 Blue October의 Hate Me 입니다. 그린데이는 노래제목에서 블루 악토버는 그룹명에서 10월을 생각나게 하네요. 아, 그리고 두 곡 모두 카피하기에 비교적 쉬운 곡이라는 공통점도 있네요..

이곡은 텍사스의 휴스톤 출신의 얼터너티브 락 그룹인 블루 악토버(Blue October)의 2006년 싱글곡으로 빌보드 모던락 부문에 2위까지 올라갔던 곡입니다. 블루악토버에 대한 평은.. 참 좋은데 아~주 약간 뭔가는 부족한 느낌?
Calling You 같은 곡도 듣기 좋고 감미롭지만 확~ 터지기에는 조금은...어쨌든,블루 악토버의 프론트맨인 저스틴 퍼스텐펠드(Justin Furstenfeld)의 카리스마가 부족한 것인지.(항상 화장과 표정은 강렬하지만...)..그런 느낌을 지울 수 없는 그룹이기도 합니다.
그래도,많은 좋은 곡을 소화하고 있기에 Blue October의 계속되는 발전을 지켜볼 수 있는 재미도 있습니다.
