Everyone loves knockouts, and the world of mixed martial arts is full of them: 2011 had a plethora of great knockouts that were equal parts brutal and beautiful. It's rather difficult to find the 10 best of the year, but alas, the good folks over here at MTV Clutch managed to pick our favorites and present the awesome GIFs as accompaniment so you can witness them again and again and again. It's hard to get tired of watching someone get knocked senseless. Honestly, it makes us giggle like schoolgirls, and that almost never happens (in public).
10. UFC 133: Vitor Belfort KOs Yoshihiro Akiyama
Vitor Belfort has the fastest hands in the division. "Sexyama" could not have seen all of those punches coming, but damn sure felt every one of them. The beating was so bad Akiyama had to fake a nap so Belfort would stop punching him.

Sam Stout was marketing a product called "A Touch of Sleep" and Yves Edwards had the opportunity to try it out. Look, it works!

Joe Warren may be the champion of Bellator's featherweight division, but Alexis Vila is the champion of KTFOs in the Bantamweight division. Safe to say Warren won't be venturing far from the 145 lbs division ever again. Check out the save by the ref though; there's an NFL team somewhere that could use his services.

Jeremy Stephens felt bad for putting Marcus Davis to sleep with a right hook to the dome. So what does he do? Try to wake him up with a forearm of course! Whatta guy.

Kyle Watson asked John Makdessi to show him that spinning backfist he's been ranting and raving about. Somebody forgot to tell Watson to get out of the way.
