2014년 9월에 발매된 The Script의 ‘No Sound Without Silence'에 실린 첫번째 싱글 출격곡인 Superheroes 입니다.
The script는 아일랜드의 3인조 얼터너티브 Rock 그룹입니다. 영국 런던을 기반으로 활동하고 있으며 점차 그 이름을 널리 알리고 있죠.
The Man Who Can't Be Moved라는 걸출한 노래로 이름을 알렸고, 이 Superheroes는 더 친근한 멜로디로 다가옵니다. 요즘 AFKN에 많이 소개되는 노래이기도 합니다.^^
뮤직비디오는 남아공의 요하네스버그에서 찍었다고 합니다. 가사와 적절한 곳을 선택했다고하는데 개인적으로는 언뜻보면 우리나라 예전 산동네 모습도 오버랩되기도 합니다. 가사중에 Turn the pain into power라고 하는 가사가 맘에 쏙 들어옵니다. 이 노래는 가사가 주는 의미가 더 좋을 수(?)있는 노래라 생각됩니다.
