미국 만화영화..가족TV만화영화이지만 우리가 봐서는 성인영화(?)인...
예컨데 바트(Bart)와 호머(Homer) 심슨이 나오는 The Simpsons 같은 만화를 보면 뮤지션들이 심심치 않게 나오는데요...만화를 보다가 좋아하는 가수나 그룹이 나오면 그렇게 반가울 수 없습니다. 일종의 보너스를 받은 느낌??
Youtube를 해매다가 우연히 예전에 보았던 Dock Dodgers에 출연했던 메가데스(Megadeth)의 데이브 무스테인(Dave Mustain)을 접했을때가 갑자기 생각이 나네요.
Dock Dodgers는 Daffy Duck과 Porky Pig 가 주연을 맡은 TV 시리즈입니다.
이번 에피소드에서는 외계인의 침략에 맞서 Rock으로 물리치는 역할을 했는데요. 만화상의 등장만이 아닌 목소리 연기를 직접 했다는 사실!!
한가지 더~ 로큰롤 역사박물관에서 폴메카트니(Paul McCartney),마돈나(Madonna),짐 모리슨(Jim Morrison)을 발견하는 재미도 있네요~
여기에서 데이브가 정신이 돌아와서 연주하며 부르는 노래는 입니다.2004년 10집 The System has Failed의 수록곡으로 싱글로도 선보인바 있는 노래입니다.
이 시기는 사실상 Megadeth에게도 쉽지않은 시기였죠. 초창기 설립멤버였던 베이시스트 David Ellefson과의 마찰로 그가 참여하지않았고 드러머와 베이시스트를 세션으로 땜빵(?)한 상태에서 전 기타리스트였던 Chris Poland로 하여금 리드기타부분만 부탁하는등...Megadeth의 System이 Failed된 시기의 앨범이라 말할 수도 있을 것 같습니다.
이때의 이런 상황을 생각하며 감상하셔도 재미를 찾으실 수 있을 듯 합니다.
