이제는 원디렉션(One Direction)에게 오디션 딱지는 확실히 떼어내야할 것 같습니다.
영국의 오디션 프로그램 엑스펙터(X-Factor) 시즌7에서 각자 응모했지만, 패널 사이먼 코웰,니콜 셰르징거에 의해 결성제의를 받아....탄생한 원디렉션.
나일 호란(Niall Horan), 제인 말리크(Zayn Malik), 리암 페인(Liam Payne), 해리 스타일스(Harry Styles), 루이 톰린슨(Louis Tomlinson)으로 이루어진 5인조 보이그룹입니다.
2011년 8월 "What Makes You Beautiful"로 MTV 뮤직어워드 3관왕을 차지했죠.
최근 만들어진 보이밴드 중에서 단연 압도적으로 전세계적으로 각광받는 그룹으로 자리잡았습니다.
이 원디렉션이 11월 12일 정규 2집앨범인 "Take Me Home"발매를 앞두고 선공개한 "Live While We're Young".
상큼하고 귀엽고 자유스러운 보이그룹 특유의 색깔을 보여주는 Teenager 스러운 가사와 더불어 경쾌한 음악을 선보이고 있습니다.
이 곡은 이들의 최대 히트곡인 What Makes You Beautiful 과 흡사한 분위기를 느낄 수 있듯이 이 곡에 참여했었던 사반 코테차(Savan Kotecha), 칼 포크(Carl Falk), 라미 야콥(Rami Yacoub)이 모두 참여했다고 합니다.
어쨌든 만들어진 보이그룹임에도 음악적 방향과 설정에 일관성을 유지하고 있는데요.. 정규 2집 활동으로 그들의 위치와 활동에 가속도를 높여줄 것이라고 생각되네요.
